When Silver Surfer visits Titan, home world of Thanos, he learns the whereabouts of Galactus thanks to the Mentor. Surfer goes back to Earth, confronts Galactus, and learns Doctor Strange is trapped in a trance!

Silver Surfer visits Titan to see Nebula. Nebula is in a catatonic state since Starfox tried to take away her suffering. The Surfer goes to visit Mentor who is down in the tombs since it is the anniversary of his wife's death at the hands of his son, Thanos. He tells Surfer the true story of her gruesome death. They are interrupted when they learn that Galactus has returned to Earth.

The Surfer rushes to Earth to find Galactus abducting Doctor Strange. The Surfer will not allow this and follows to Galactus' ship. Galactus forces Nova to attack the Surfer and she must do her duty. The battle is stopped by Doctor Strange when he awakens. He tells the Surfer that he is willingly helping Galactus and it would be wise for the Surfer to help as well. All reality is in peril from the being known as Magus.
